Do you have a tablet or mobile smart phone but don’t know how to use it properly? Do you wonder why youngsters appear to be so obsessed with these devices? Would you like to know how to get more out of your phone or tablet?
If your answer is yes to any of these questions then I am sure you will enjoy participating in this Group in which we will jointly explore a number of topics.
More formal meetings are held in the Winter months where we jointly examine ways in which the devices can be used and helpful apps for older people. In the summer months are get togethers are more informal and provide an opportunity for members to help each other overcome problems they have encountered using their devices.
In the winter we normally meet in the function room of Louth Indoor Bowls Club. In the summer we meet at a variety of venues including the Peppercorn Cafe in Elizabeth Court, Louth and the Spike Bar in the Clubhouse of Louth Golf Club on Crowtree Lane.
Depending on the venue a small charge of £1-£2 is levied to cover the cost of hiring the venue.
Meetings are normally held on the fourth Monday of each month and commence at 2pm. The meetings normally last for 2 hours.
Both experienced users as well as complete beginners are welcome at these meetings. Mel Taylor normally leads the formal sessions supported by Sue West and Catherine Aitchison so we can cover both Apple and Android devices. Sue and Catherine normally chair the informal sessions.
Do come along to make new friends and hopefully learn something at the same time. If you would like to attend future meetings please apply to join this Group
