Pilates is concerned with improving muscle strength, tone and flexibility, developing good posture and improving breathing. Practiced regularly it can help prevent injury, stress and strain and promote relaxation.
We currently run 3 sessions every week which are led by a qualified instructor and cost £6 per session.
One of the sessions is Chair Pilates for those people with less mobility, or perhaps those recovering from an operation. For this session there is no equipment needed but for regular sessions you need a mat or a towel to lie on and a cushion or towel for your head. Balls and bands are provided by the instructor.
