The Art Detectives is an Art Appreciation group which meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 10.15am depending on the venue.
The aim of our group is to explore and enjoy works of art by visiting local artists and exhibitions, with occasional trips further afield. We arrange for artists to talk to us about their work on each occasion, and we are able to interact with them, ask questions and discuss their work.
There may also be occasional meetings in members’ homes to discuss favourite artists, works of art etc.
The group leader sends members information on local exhibitions and meetings by email.
We are a very friendly and informal group, and no previous knowledge is necessary, just an open mind and an enjoyment of art. Any new members will be very welcome. Just contact Ann Measures, the group leader by email using this link .
